2017: Volcan Wof, Volcan Sierra Negra, Isla Floreana, Galapagos Islands (Ecuador), Led international team, 25 days sampling lava flows, scoria cones and plutonic nodules.

2013 – 2014: Campi Flegrei and Ischia volcanoes, Naples (Italy), Two weeks sampling and logging volcanic deposits.

2009 – 2011: Las Cañadas volcano, Tenerife (Spain), Three weeks sampling plutonic nodules in pyroclastic deposits.

2011: Malatya (Turkey), Two weeks geological mapping of epithermal gold deposits, funded by Stratex International Plc.

2009: Santorini volcano, Aegean (Greece), Six weeks geological mapping and logging of volcanic deposits.
